WELCA at Nativity

Women of the ELCA

You are cordially invited to participate in fellowship, study, prayer, and action with the women of the Lutheran Church of the Nativity.

This is your invitation to join a community of women that comes together for study, support, and action. Any woman who takes part in carrying out the mission of and supports the ministries of Women of the ELCA is a participant. This support can range from attending one function per year or only financially supporting the community to regularly attending monthly meetings. Everyone is welcome to attend any function at any time and no one needs to attend every function every time to support the Women of the ELCA at Nativity. The nativity notescontains information on meetings and Bible studies. The invitation has been issued to you - just come and participate as you are able.

Mobilizing women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ.

As a community of women
created in the image of God,
called to discipleship in Jesus Christ and
empowered by the Holy Spirit,
we commit ourselves to grow in faith,
affirm our gifts,
support one another in our callings,
engage in ministry and action, and
promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.
